Big Research Question: What kind of relationships are formed between the students and a student and a teacher at school?

Secondary Questions: ?What is the criteria of the formation of various groups?

                                                ? How are the students segregated on the basis of gender?

                                                ? How often do the students meet the teachers outside classrooms?

                                                ? On what basis are the favourites of teachers and students formed?

                                          ? How do students behave among themselves outside classrooms?

                                                ? How much time do the students spend leisure time with each other?

                                                ? Do religion, language and caste create virtual groups among students?

Number of Interviews

-          With teachers : 5 - Ashrita, The Headmaster, Padmini,, two other faculty members

-          With students – 4 boys and 4 girls

-          Others – Librarian, Peon (If exists), skylight teacher

Number of Observations

-          Where – Classroom, On field, Staff room, Skylight

Number of Focus Groups: 4

-          Age group – 12 – 14 years
